I have been an avid photographer for as long as I can remember. My first photographs were taken when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old and was given a Kodak Brownie to play with. I have been shooting ever since.
Over the years I have shot a wide variety of subjects - events, pets, wildlife, landscapes, portraits - you name it, I probably shot it. I was looking for my "voice" and took every opportunity to take pictures that was presented to me. The one thing I kept going back to was nature; I love being outdoors. I now spend most of my free time shooting landscapes and wildlife when I can get out; other times I can be found working on product photography projects - if I am really lucky, I can combine the both!
If I am not out shooting, I am writing about it on my blog, http://joevalenciaphotography.blogspot.com, or thinking about shooting.
